this photo is my favorite of the ones that i took on the first day of photo-journalism class. out of all of them, the lighting was the best in this one, and i liked the slightly blurry image of the obama poster in the background to the right of his face. his body language is natural and not as anxious as in the other ones, and i like the focus on this one the best.
this one is my least favorite. it's boring, the tones aren't very good because of the fluorescent ceiling light on the ceiling, and the angle isn't very good, either. there's really nothing to look at and it looks like it was an accident instead of an intentional picture.
I'm a big fan of the backs of people's heads. This shot is clear enough for us to determine if the young man has fleas or not. Clearly he does not. A good sign. I look forward to more such news in the future.
